Changing the way we treat mood disorders and pain...
RESTORE Advanced Infusion and the RESTORE Essential Infusion

Finding the right treatment to help you feel better.
“Personalized medicine” is a somewhat new medical model that uses patient specific information, such as your own genetic makeup (or genotype) in order to enable an individualized approach to treatment. For example, up to half of all patients respond poorly to the first psychiatric medicine they try because everyone’s body is different, partially based upon their own individual genetic makeup.
Where pharmacogenomic testing would change the treatment plan, we may recommend a commercially available panel such as Genomind Professional PGx Express. We have no affiliation with, and no endorsement from, Genomind. The test is ordered and billed independently of your treatment fee, and current pricing is available from the provider.
How GENOMIND Can Help
Genomind Professional PGx ExpressTM looks at 24 key genes that are associated with mental health and mood disorders . This can help inform how we plan your RESTORE Infusion. It can also aid your psychiatrist to understand if a drug may work for you before you even try it. With this information, along with your medical history, all of us can make a more informed treatment decision.
Genomind Professional PGx Express supports the genetic profile implications for the treatment of:
• depression
• anxiety
• obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• bipolar disorder
• post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) .  • autism
• schizophrenia .  • chronic pain .  • substance abuse
Complete Genetic Profiles Help To Guide Treatment

And They Can Inform Which Medications To Consider First

That Is Precision Medicine and Personalized Care
We have embraced this approach and applied it to the science of ketamine-based therapy to optimize all of our RESTORE treatment protocols and enhance the outcome for all of our patients. In this way we strive to provide the most innovative and effective treatment available.
Over the years it became clear that the “one-size-fits-all” approach didn’t work well. I spent over 10 years researching the various factors that can contribute to a patient’s success or account for their failure to improve with ketamine. GENOMIND has been used very successfully with our infusions - see how it can help you:

We "Target" Your Infusion...Precisely
As you can see, we understand that it is vitally important to consider individual differences in each patient and specifically tailor treatment to that person’s unique circumstances and it is even more important when considering ketamine-based therapy.
Until now, the standard ketamine infusion has been designed for the “average patient.” As a result of this “one-size-fits-all” approach, treatment results can vary widely - they can be very successful for some patients but not for others. We take the time to tailor the therapy to each patient, taking account of the factors described below.
We know that it is critical to take into account individual differences in people’s genetics, metabolism, medications, life experiences, environments, and lifestyles. This information gives us the resources we need to target the RESTORE Infusions to each person’s needs and the specific illnesses. Success requires time, expertise, experience and attention to every detail…that’s Precision Medicine.

Now you have choices....
RESTORE is changing the way things are done
The RESTORE Advanced Infusion and the RESTORE Essential Infusion are very different from the regular ketamine infusion. We realize that each person is unique, has different needs, experiences and may respond differently to any medication. We understand that each person must consider these factors; we know that one size "dose" does not fit everyone.
The RESTORE Infusions are dosed to a measured target concentration rather than to body weight alone. The first full course is three infusions over three days rather than six over about two weeks. In a retrospective review of our own patients, the mean interval before a further infusion was needed was about eight months. That review was retrospective, had no control group and was not peer reviewed, and it is not a prediction of your result.
We understand that living with depression, migraine headache, fibromyalgia or chronic pain can be difficult, but considering a RESTORE Infusion is a step in the right direction. And you're not alone. RESTOREÂ therapy has been used to treat hundreds of patients all across the country. Learn more about how we can help you today.
